Frequently Asked Questions

Can I rent the chapel without the all-inclusive package?

You are able to rent our chapels and gazebo for an A La Cart price. For an additional fee, you may choose from different upgrade options such as, a minister, music, photography, videography and flowers.

Can I bring my own vendors?

Yes, you may have your personal officiate for your ceremony, as well as any other vendors you would prefer to provide on your own. However, the package price will not be reduced. The Officiate must be licensed in the state of Hawaii. We ask that any vendors you provide abide by our rules, regulations and time schedule.

Can you also make my room, restaurant, reception, and airline reservations?

No, Best Bridal Hawaii handles the ceremony planning only. You will need to contact the hotel directly for room, restaurant, or reception reservations. For your flight arrangements, please contact the airline directly or your preferred travel agency.

How do we get our marriage license?

The State of Hawaii Licensing Bureau, located at 1250 Punchbowl Street, can be reached at (808) 586-4544. Both parties must appear personally. The marriage license is good for 30 days from and including the date or its issuance. There are no residency or citizenship requirements. The legal age to marry in Hawaii is 18 years. Proof of age is required in the form of ID or driver’s license. The current fee is USD $60.00 and must be paid in cash. The process takes minutes to do once your application is filled out. For more information or to download the application from their website, go to: http://hawaii.gov/health/vital-records/vital-records/marriage/index.html, fill it out, and bring it with you to expedite the process. The Hilton’s taxi service can take you there and back to the hotel at your convenience.
